Royal Enfield Hunter 450 & Scram 650 spotted together ahead of launch

The Himalayan 450 and the Royal Enfield Hunter 450 will use the same foundation. The spy photos reveal that the Himalayan 450’s back part, tail lamps, front headlamp, and even exhaust are identical. Therefore, it is the same Sherpa 450 engine. It is the first liquid-cooled engine from Royal Enfield, with a maximum power output of 39 bhp and a peak torque output of 40 Nm. There is a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch in service.

The motorcycle has reduced wheel diameters. Therefore, it is anticipated that both the front and rear would have 17-inch units. Road-biased tires are anticipated to be supplied by Ceat. Since the Hunter 450 is a roadster and the Himalayan 450 is an all-out adventure tourer, it will weigh less mostly due to its smaller fuel tank and slightly smaller frame. The Hunter 450 should feel more nimble than the Himalayan 450 thanks to all these modifications.

Royal Enfield Scrambler 650

The Royal Enfield Scram 650 comes next. It shares the same chassis with the Continental GT 650 and Interceptor 650. But the company has changed a few things. The dual-purpose tires of the Scram 650 are mounted on spoked rims. A circular tail lamp is used in the newly installed rear-tail portion. Additionally, there will be upside-down forks up front.

LIt is still the same 648 cc air-oil cooled parallel-twin engine with a 270-degree crank. Its maximum power production is 46.8 bhp, while its peak torque output is 52 Nm. It has a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch attached to it. A new 2-in-1 side-mounted exhaust system will be used.
